The Perfect Mix: Cardio & Strength

When it comes to training at BFT Miranda there are various ways to get your sweat on, whether it be running on a machine, lifting weights, boxing, skipping or doing burpees.

Cardiovascular exercises are an essential part of any fitness routine, as they improve heart health, boost endurance, and burn calories.

Body Fit Training incorporates various cardio exercises, such as rowing, running, cycling, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT), to get your heart pumping and your sweat pouring.

During a Body Fit Training class, you can expect to engage in heart-pumping activities that challenge your cardiovascular system, increase your lung capacity, and improve your overall fitness level.

The dynamic and fast-paced nature of the workouts keeps you constantly moving and ensures that you're reaping the benefits of a cardio workout throughout the session.

The strength training component of Body Fit Training focuses on functional movements that mimic real-life activities, making it a highly effective workout for improving strength, stability, and mobility.

Group training sessions run six days a week from Monday through to Saturday. Monday through to Thursday classes commence at 5.15am | 6.15am | 7.15am | 9.30am | 5.30pm | 6.30pm.

After a solid training session it is so important to recharge and recover, the BFT Miranda trainers have revealed some of their top secrets on how to unwind after a work out.

Hydration is essential to replenish the fluids lost through sweat after a workout and avoids dehydration. Keep a water bottle handy and sip on it throughout the day, you should aim for at least 8 cups of water daily!

Stretching prevents muscles becoming sore after a gym class and will improve your overall flexibility. Leg swings, arm circles and hip rotations are some simple but effective stretches trainers recommend.

Foam rolling gives your muscles a mini massage after a workout. The rolling will help break up knots, release tension and improve blood circulation. 

Active recovery such as swimming, cycling or yoga is popular way to promote healing and reduces muscle stiffness after an intense training session. These activities will flush out toxins from the body and instead deliver nutrients.

Sleeping for at least seven to nine hours each night will allow your body to repair, recharge and grow stronger.
