Based in the Sutherland Shire, Alexandra Naseri is the founder and creator of Florart Inspired. A professionally trained and qualified Florist with over 20 years experience, Alexandra has been able to hone her craft in all aspects of Floristry and found it to be her life's true passion.

Her vision is for her floral art to be displayed in family homes and events all around Australia bringing warmth, love and joy.

We caught up with Alexandra who has recently joined the Shire Talk Business Directory. Flo Art Inspired is more than just a florist they also provide a wide range of homewares, teas, ceramics, premium chocolates and skincare products.

Who Is Florart Inspired?

We're a florist and handcrafted homewares store based in Caringbah, NSW.

What was the inspiration to start your business?

I use to own Sylvania Heights Florist when I was 23. It didn't work out the way I would've liked. I didn't want to live with regret so it was time to take the challenge again.

To provide the customer value through experience. I want our customers receive value in the product and I also want them to feel valued when dealing with us.

What is a business obstacle or challenge you have overcome?

We opened the day before lockdown. 6 weeks in and we've hired someone.

Any exciting developments on the horizon for your business?

We will be launching Sydney's first "Sip and Clip". I'll be teaching small groups how to create bouquets while sipping on your favourite wine. This is something that I would've like to of launched by now but covid had other ideas. Stay tuned for that...

How do you define business success?

When you get to a point when you are able to give back to the community that's supported you.

If you could open another business, what would that be?

I would love to be a stylist.. Not sure how I'd go but one can dream!

Me. If you stay true to yourself no one can ever replicate it.

Recently we created a flower posy for R U OK day with $5 from every posy sold donated to R U OK. We also ran a local $500 giveaway to help a family in lockdown pay some bills.
