How ’34-38 Railway Crescent, Jannali’ Begins a New Era

Amongst the hustle and bustle of the Sutherland Shire suburb of Jannali, a transformation was taking place. A legacy spanning 58 years takes on new meaning as 34-38 Railway Crescent is brought into modern times. Now in place of the once Jannali Inn owned by the Durkin Family, a new $2 million dollar pub stands.

The Union Place Hotel is as, unlike the old bar as you could get, now as a Chicago style pub. And it’s something to revel at. With its dining and entertainment areas, there is no end to the kind of experience you are looking for.

Inside there are booths waiting for you to enjoy a family lunch or dinner. The bar area is adorned with large TVs that face you no matter which way you are sitting, allowing you to watch the game and chat to your mates at the same time.

Whether you’re looking for a spot in the shade or a seat in the sun, the outdoor area is the place for a long lazy lunch. The food is cooked to perfection, both high in quality and volume. And they’ve not forgotten the kids, either. A generous and well-rounded, yet toddler friendly, menu with something for even the fussiest of eaters. Each meal comes with an activity pack to keep them entertained and a special ice cream treat.
With plenty of parking nearby or a short couple of steps from Jannali Station, The Union Place Hotel is a convenient, family friendly and a place to meet and hang out.
